Review Section

Thought I'd include some of the reviews we've received for our songs, most are from SectionZ, I'll include as much as possible, good or bad.

Ready Or Not

This song was formerly Sugar and Spice, it was at one time two songs, Ready or Not and Sugar and Spice however there wasn't enough content for both of them and they both had a very similar sound.

hey hellbound...! okay...first thing i notice... ur mix is still kinda fighting for space...and everything is DRY sounding...pretty much.. this is a great concept that lacks proper execution... ur singers voice is great....just mix her more nicely...use multiband compression on her and straighten things out with them.. synths felt muddy to me...i mean the high shelf frequencies... EQing will help... use a lot of eq's until everything sounds like complimenting everything else rather than looking like a fight for space in the sound scape.... i am liking the melodies i hear...
overall...track has serious potential waiting to be unlocked....!!!
7/10.... :)
Orion..
Cheerz!!!

1 Review for 1 Review. Fair? ^^
Well.I'm 'headbanging'. You're play with Beepmap is nice. I love glitches and that's one of my 'Defect'( If it is the word. Sorry for my english.). Beepmap + Synth very well blended make it perfect. I am feeling In a RAVE and wanna dance. 1:00 transition makes me wanna jump and get fast and furious ^^. Then it goes back at 1:23. 1:58 New transition with beepmap. Makes me goosebumps (chair de poule en francais.). Very good use of beepmap. It couldn't be better :). Keep it up man.
If I were you, I had put some clap or snare sound each 2step. But that's only a feeling. The synth is well worked. Each build up brings me more and more and makes me more like dancing hard. Overall 10/10 Thumbs up :).

Down Under

This song was pre-released a while ago but taken down with the intention of recording vocals

thanks for the review. interesting acid sound being explored here. good choice of reverb. sounds like a nice impulse. I like hearing different takes on trance music, especially now that everyone wants to be deadmau5 or capitalize on his success. With the mixing technique used, you can only play it loud. i think if you give the trance gate sound more freedom of the high hz, it would resolve this.but youd also need to give the offbeat hihat more mid to counter the effect.

Where Are We Going?

This Review is for one of our first versions of Where are we going, alot has changed since we recieved it

Ok nice! the vocal has great potential. the reverb is to much in the mids to lower mids and it creates a drowned or muddy effect where her articulation is muffled. I'd try cutting out some lower frequencies and applying reverb in higher mids than currently.... and aim for really clarifying her voice because I can hear the potential of that voice in there and it's only the production that is in it's way. no offense! just trying to be honest & help. I wish I had someone to sing like that for me!
I can't hear the words at all in the ... beginning of the vocal bridge(?)
In summary, fun idea and good song that could benefit from further production tweaking
cheers,
